Assistant Superintendent for Education and Accountability

  • Oversee and support educational programs and services for the District.
  • Plan, develop, and implement functions related to general education and special education, curriculum, instruction, staff development, technology, and supplemental programs for students.
  • Administration of federal grant programs: Title, IDEA, and others as assigned.
  • Supervise and support building administrators in the improvement of curriculum, instruction and professional development ensuring district goals are actualized at the school level.
  • Assist in budget preparation for newly approved instructional programs as related to instructional supplies, equipment, and materials.
  • Assist Board of Education in policy manual review.
  • Coordinate ESL services in the district.
  • Assist the Superintendent in all areas as assigned.
  • Foster care point of contact.
  • District Designee for NYSED Mental Health Hygiene Law.
