The Hudson Falls Central School Special Education Department is committed to providing services for students with disabilities.  Through these services we hope disabled students will develop the essential skills and knowledge needed to be successful in their formative years, as well as into adulthood.  A child-centered approach forms the basis of the department.  We strive to provide the most appropriate services and equity for all as outlined in law and regulations.  Total communication and support from the Committee on Special Education office to the parents are a necessity if administrators, teachers, aides, assistants, and other providers are to coordinate their activities and services to provide for understanding of our students’ needs and ensure those needs are met.
