Director of Educational Technology: Greg Partch
Greg Partch is the Director of Educational Technologies for the Hudson Falls Central School District in Hudson Falls, New York.  His extensive professional experience reaches into the education and private sectors, where he has served as a school business manager, a high school science teacher, a central office administrator, and as the Manager of Information Systems in the paper industry for over twelve years.  In his current role, Mr. Partch has been a multi -national advocate for recognizing and promoting the powerful role students can play in forging new and innovative practices to transform instructional methods and procedures.

During his ten-year tenure at Hudson Falls, Partch was the founder and Director of a Title III Technology Literacy Challenge Grant, The North Hudson Electronic Educational Empowerment Project (NHEEEP).  A five-year project, NHEEEP was funded for a total of $5.5M.  NHEEEP partners included 39 public and private school districts, Columbia University's Teacher College, Syracuse University's Living School Book, The New York Institute of Technology, The University of New York at Albany, and numerous non-profit and for-profit organizations and content providers.  Partch is a former board member of the New York State Association of Computers and Technologies in Education (NYSCATE) and is a current member of the University of the State of New York Technology Policy and Practices Council (USNY), the advisory board for Public Television of New York, and sits on the New York State Governor's panel for cyber Security Awareness "Protecting Our Children on the Internet".  Partch has been published in Today's School and Modern Media and Methods, and his work has been the focus of numerous case studies.  Presentations include papers given at NECC, NYSCATE, NCES, and CoSN.  In January 2001, he presented his paper "Educational Reform using Students as Agents of Change" at South China Normal University in Guangzhou, China. 

Partch received his BA as well as his MAE in Education from Castleton State College.  He resides in a rural upstate New York community on the central Vermont border and is a passionate producer of maple syrup.
