The average Physical Education class encompasses students of various ability levels. It is each person’s responsibility to give their best effort at all times without causing injury or undue embarrassment to others in the class. The classes will consist of a wide variety of activities designated by the Hudson Falls Central School District Physical Education Curriculum, which has been modeled and customized from the New York State and National Physical Education Standards. The course will consist of lecture, skill development, skill testing, competition style activity and quizzes.

Dress Code:

All students are expected to bring Physical Education attire to every class.

This includes:

Athletic style shorts or sweatpants, a full size t –shirt or sweatshirt not worn to school, and athletic sneakers with non-marking soles

Dress that is not allowed:

Sleeveless shirts    Tank-tops    Shirts with altered collar

Hats    Dress style shoes    Sandals    Bandanas     Music devices

Heely’s / wheeled sneakers    Jewelry (necklaces, bracelets, piercings, etc.)

Tank tops    Loose/untied Sneakers
