French 8 is the 2nd course in learning a new language!
What will you be doing this year?
You will continue to learn how to communicate in French! You will be able to review information that you learned in French 7 while learning many new things. French is easy to learn as long as you participate and try! You will learn how to speak, read, understand, and write French in a variety of everyday situations that you might encounter in real life. You will also explore French speaking cultures in the world and why French is an important language to learn. We will have fun using French!
What do you need to bring to class?
You need to bring a binder, a writing utensil, and sometimes your textbook to class. Being prepared to participate every day is important for success!
How will you be graded?
Grading is necessary to see how much you have learned. There will be many ways for you to show how well you speak, read, write, and understand French such as creating and acting out dialogues, projects, homework, quizzes, and participating in class activities. Grading is as follows: Homework (30%) Quizzes/Tests(30%) Participation/Speaking (40%)
