Coach Galarneau is in his 6th year of teaching physical education, 2nd year at Hudson Falls Intermediate School. A 2006 graduate of Castleton State College, Galarneau earned his Bachelor's degree in Physical Education. While at Castleton, Galarneau was a member of Men's Basketball Program and was named team captain during his senior season. In the Summer of 2009 Galarneau completed his master's degree from Canisius College in Education/Physical Education.

At Hudson Falls, Galarneau coached Modified Cross Country, 4th-6th Grade Boys and Girls Basketball Intramurals, Modified Boys Basketball, Junior Varsity Boys Basketball, and Varsity Track and Field (Asst.). 

Prior to Hudson Falls, Galarneau has coached Girls JV Basketball, Girls Modified Soccer, Junior Varsity Baseball, Modified Track and Field, 5th-6th Grade Boys Basketball Intramurals, 6th Grade Track and Field Intramurals, 15-U/17-U Arsenal City AAU Basketball, JV/V Watervliet Boys Basketball Summer League, 15-U Rotterdam Rage AAU Basketball.

Outside of school Coach Galarneau has been able to continue to pursue his passion for physical fitness as a Personal Trainer.  

Coach Galarneau grew up in the Capital Region and currently resides in Clifton Park with his wife Carley and infant son John Paul.
