The Orchestra had a very busy and successful school year! A few highlights include:
September: Chamber Orchestra performance with Jonathon Newell and the Hyperion String Quartet at the Hudson Falls Bicentennial Celebration
October: Creation of the Middle School Fiddle Club!
December: High School and Middle School and Chamber Orchestra performed an excellent winter concert February: 13 Orchestra students attend All-County Orchestra
March:The Manchester Chamber Ensemble gave a master class for our Middle School students, as well as a fantastic concert for Intermediate, Middle, and High School musicians.
April: High school students participated in “Beatlefest” performing “Eleanor Rigby” and “All you need is love” with Jonathon Newell and his band at the Hudson River Music Hall May- 15 Orchestra students participate in NYSSMA Solo Festival
May-The Middle and High School Orchestras performed an outstanding World Music Concert.
May- The High School String Quartet entertain Intermediate School students at “Colonialfest”
June- The High School Full Orchestra (grades 8-11) perform at Graduation
