1. Check in!
Sometime in September or early October, I will get you back in to my office so that you can update me about your plans. Remember, though, that you don't need to wait for me to schedule you to come in - you can reserve time whenever convenient for you by signing up on the G.O. clipboard schedule. Talking with me and updating me frequently on your plans allows me to help you as much as possible! It gives me an opportunity to offer my feedback and suggestions.
What should you be doing now?
If college is in your future, you should be in the final stages of searching out schools and gathering information. Hopefully, you've made visits to the schools that interest you the most and you are narrowing down the list of schools you want to apply to. Remember: give yourself admissions and cost options by applying to a group of schools that include more competitive schools (which may be somewhat of a long shot) and less competitive, "safety" schools along with public and private schools for cost flexibility. Vists are crucial - you wouldn't buy a car without looking at it first!
