Is nuclear power the best way to meet the ever-increasing energy needs of the planet, or do alternative energy sources provide a viable alternative?

there is no question in my mind that a combination of renewable energies is what our country, our world, should focus on. Nuclear waste is dangerous and cannot be reused for much that is beneficial.
