World War II Magazine Project

You will create a history magazine of the World War II era. It should be written from the point of view of the Allies-after all, they won, and get to write the history!

 You will work in Microsoft Publisher on your own. Use the NEWSLETTER TEMPLATE for ease of use.

The finished product will be no less than 4 pages long. You will hand in a hard copy only, unless it is so good that I want you to email it to me. Subject matter for the pages must be as follows:

• Page 1 should address the causes, in Europe and in the Pacific.

• Page 2 must address at least three major battles in the ETO (European Theater of Operations)

• Page 3 must address at least three major battles in the PTO (Pacific Theatre of Operations)

• Page 4 must address the aftermath (effects), and also include your sources (see below).

You may also include other items, like:

Political cartoons, etc- see me.

Warning on plagiarism! Cutting and pasting someone else’s work is grounds for failure and disciplinary proceedings. I also refuse to grade unless citations are present.

Students must have several Internet sources and one hard copy source.
