Get to know your Chromebook
According to Google, a Chromebook is “a laptop that runs on the Google Chrome operating system. The Chrome operating system is designed to work on the cloud, so that means everything—your files, your apps, even your
desktop—lives online (not on your laptop) and is the same wherever you sign in.”
Google Classroom is a platform for organizing & completing students’ work. It puts everything the student is working on in one place and allows the teacher to communicate and collaborate with students, no matter their location.
Google Meet is a virtual tool that allows teachers and students to collaborate in real-time via video & audio using their Chromebook.
Teachers can teach lessons, pose a question for discussion, or set up a virtual class activity through the camera or screen sharing, and students can respond and participate using the video, audio, and/or online chat feature of Google Meet.
