October 7th, 2020 Update:
The Hudson Falls Board of Education is working with our partners at WSWSHE BOCES on the ongoing search for a superintendent. District Superintendent, Mr. James Dexter has been contracted to lead the search. He is a respected leader in our region and New York State and will bring quality and transparency to this work. It is the goal of the Board of Education to have our new Superintendent in the District as of July 1, 2021.
‘We are very fortunate to have a great partner in WSWHE BOCES to help assist us with the search process,” said Hudson Falls Board of Education President Ben Bishop. “Hiring a Superintendent isn’t a decision we take lightly and the Board of Education is in the planning phases of undergoing a thorough and participative search process. We are looking for a leader who can push our district forward, and continually improve upon the work of our past leaders.”
The Board plans to ensure that all Hudson Falls stakeholders, including parents, students, staff, and the community are represented in the process. To initiate the search, the Board of Education will soon engage with Mr. Dexter to create community surveys to obtain information about the goals and expectations of the community for our next leader.
