School Nutrition Services
Did you know our Nutrition Services staff serves over 125,000 breakfasts and close to 277,000 lunches to the students in Hudson Falls Schools? Our job in School Nutrition Services is to ensure that only nutritious and appealing foods and beverages are provided in school cafeterias, vending machines, snack bars, school stores, and other venues that offer food and beverages to students.
School meals have changed in recent years, thanks in part to federal nutritional standards. School meals are now low in fat and provide one-half of the recommended dietary allowances for calories, protein, and vitamins A and C, iron, and calcium. We take pride in offering your child healthy meals that help them learn.

Hudson Falls School District is pleased to announce our eligibility for a new meal program. CEP or the Community Eligibility Program allows our schools to provide FREE breakfast and lunch to all students. Please help us in this year’s process by completing the application. You also received a home mailing with additional information along with an application for this program. Please fill out and return to your child’s homeroom teacher or main office.
You can fill out this paperwork online, via TitanK12’s website.

The company LINQ Connect now handles all of our payments. LINQ Connect allows you to pay for your child’s snacks, view account balances, schedule automatic payments, receive low balance email reminders and view daily reports of your child’s cafeteria purchases. We encourage all families to create a free account with simply an email address. You can also download LINQ Connect mobile app below.
It also offers some advantages to families with multiple children in the district. Parents can create one account, and add money and view transactions for all of their students.
To buy a school snack, students/families can:
- Pay cash
- Deposit money in your child’s account by writing a check to School Nutrition Services. The check can be brought to school and given to the main office.
- Use your LINQ Connect

We recognize that celebrations like holiday parties, birthdays, and special snacks are important parts of the school experience.
In an effort to create a safe environment for students, we have implemented an Allergy Snack Procedure for the entire district while children are in class.
Along with the USDA and the Smart Snack Guide for schools, we are asking all parents, teachers, and school-related organizations to follow the procedure outlined below when supplying a Smart Snack for a celebration.
- All allergens for a specific product need to be vetted within the office of Nutrition Services and/or the school nurse. Our mission is to celebrate in a safe and allergy-free environment for all students and classrooms.
- Please submit the Special Occasion and Snack Form at least 48 hours before the classroom celebration. We have compiled a list of Smart Snack School items that meet the USDA guidelines for a celebratory snack.
- We also encourage you to send in a store-bought snack that contains an ingredient label. Store-bought items will be permitted and submitted for vetting, while homemade cookies, brownies, and cupcakes will not be allowed.
- If this option is selected, we will need the label sent to us 48 hours in advance. This can be done by either dropping off at the Nutrition Service office or on the Special Occasion and Snack Form. This will ensure all snack ingredients can be vetted before the party or distribution of the snack.
- If you choose to purchase the product from the school, please fill out the Special Occasion and Snack Form and stop by the Nutrition Office to make payment. Again, we kindly request 48 hours' notice to ensure products are available and payment is complete.
- If the Nutrition Director is unavailable, you can contact the school's Cafeteria Manager as an alternative.
