Mother Nature made another impact this week, and I thank everyone for their flexibility as we made some scheduling changes due to the weather. One important note is the rescheduled date for the High School Choir and Orchestra concert. It will be Tuesday, December 16 at 7:30 p.m. in the High School Auditorium.
Breakfast With Santa
The HFCSD PTSA is hosting their annual Santa’s Workshop on Sunday, December 14, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Primary School. The event features a holiday and vendor craft fair, kids holiday crafts and most importantly a chance to have breakfast with Santa. Admission will be $5 per person or a new unwrapped toy for donation. To learn more about the PTSA visit their Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/HFCSDPTSA.
Boost the Backpack Program
Help the Hudson Falls Intermediate School Food Backpack program when you shop at Hannaford in December!
Purchase a reusable Fight Hunger Bag at the Hannaford at 3758 Burgoyne Avenue, and our Intermediate School will receive $1. All the money raised will go toward purchasing food and supplies for our Food Backpack program. It’s a great bag and a great way to help!
Digital Documents
The Hudson Falls Central School District will begin using ParentSquare this month to send secure documents directly to families, including AIS letters, iReady diagnostics, progress reports and report cards. Parents receive an email, text or app notification with a secure link to their individual document. Upon notification, ParentSquare will ask you to authenticate with your password before accessing the documents to maintain.
The app will help you stay updated and access important information quickly and securely. If you need assistance please contact your school’s main office.
Athletic Milestone
Congratulations to senior Brady Smith of the boys basketball team who became just the 7th player in Tiger history to record 1,000 career points. This incredible feat took place Tuesday night in a win at Broadalbin-Perth. Congratulations Brady!
