Our Middle and High School Vex Robotics teams showcased incredible skill and innovation during a busy weekend of competition. Our High School students traveled to Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI) to put their engineering to the test, while our Middle School teams competed at the inaugural Capital Region Classic held at the Albany Capital Center. We are thrilled to announce that Middle School Team 12839C, also known as Ctrl+Claws, earned a prestigious invitation to the VEX IQ New York State Championship in Syracuse on Wednesday, March 4!

This was a milestone event for our program, and you can even catch a glimpse of our talented students in action via this news segment from News10 ABC, which highlights the excitement and high-tech challenges of the weekend. Mark your calendars for the inaugural VEX IQ, Cupid's Classic, on Saturday, February 14 at the High School. Doors will open for matches starting at 9:00 a.m.

Congratulations to Mr. Feiss and the Choraliers, who performed at the recent Adirondack Area School Boards Association (AASBA) meeting. The audience included the NYS Commissioner of Education, regional school board members, and administrators from across our local districts. It was a proud moment for our district to showcase the excellence that defines our music program.
