With three-quarters of the academic year behind us, our secondary schools are now entering the final marking period.

As the weather warms up, it’s natural for focus to shift, but we urge students to stay committed and finish the year strong. Maintaining steady attendance and putting in consistent effort during these closing months are vital components of student achievement.

School Holiday Approved

We are pleased to announce that Friday, May 22, 2026, has been tentatively added to the calendar as an additional school holiday. This addition is intended to provide our staff and students with a well earned extended holiday weekend to relax, recharge, and enjoy a brief respite before the final stretch of the year. Please note that this holiday is contingent upon the district having at least two unused snow days remaining as of that date.

Grandparents Breakfast

We are pleased to continue to hold our Grandparents’ Breakfasts again this year! We typically have great attendance to these events, which may sometimes lead to a line forming in order to serve everyone. Please rest assured that we will serve everyone in the interest of having a great opportunity for grandparents to spend time with our students. Breakfast will start at 7:30 am unless otherwise noted.

Last Call for Memory Books

Memory books are available for our elementary families in UPK through grade 5. The deadline to purchase one is Friday, April 24. Here is the link to purchase: https://shop.yearbookmarket.com/hudsonfallsprimaryintermediate. No late orders can be accepted.

Anthony Luciano Memorial Invitational

The Anthony Luciano Memorial Invitational will be held on Saturday, April 25, beginning at 9:30 a.m., at the high school track. This showcase of talent features athletes from over 25 school districts competing in various events, including sprints, long-distance, hurdles, and field events. Spectators are welcome to join us and cheer on our athletes as they compete for their personal bests.

Concessions will be open with the support of the Tiger Trackers Booster Club. The Booster Club is still looking for volunteers and donations. If you would like to assist in any way, please contact Booster Club President Hayley Girard at hgirard@hfcsd.org or you can connect with them on their Facebook Page.
