With May officially upon us, we have entered the final stretch of the school year with less than two months remaining. While this season brings plenty of excitement—including highly anticipated events like field days and upcoming field trips, it remains a vital time for academic growth. We encourage all families to help keep our students focused and motivated as we work together to close out the year strong.

Author Visit

The Library Team is thrilled to announce that award-winning author Steve Sheinkin will be visiting our school on Tuesday, May 5, 2026, for an exciting day of assemblies and workshops! The day kicks off in the HS Auditorium with an assembly for all students in grades 9–12 from 9:20 a.m. to 10:20 a.m., followed immediately by a book signing. Later that morning, from 10:45 a.m. to 11:45 a.m., a select group of invited students will participate in a writing workshop in the Library Team Room; please note that these students will eat during C Lunch, and a list of participants will be shared with teachers prior to the event.

In the afternoon, our Middle School students in grades 6–8 will head to the HS Auditorium from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. for their own assembly and signing session. While the deadline to order new books through Mrs. Heath was April 29, we highly encourage any students or staff who already own copies of Mr. Sheinkin’s books to bring them to their respective assemblies to be signed. We look forward to a day of great stories and inspiration!

Last Chance For Memory Books

Memory books are STILL available for our elementary families in UPK through grade 5. The deadline to purchase was extended until Monday, May 4. Here is the link to purchase: https://shop.yearbookmarket.com/hudsonfallsprimaryintermediate. This extension is the last chance and no late orders can be accepted.

High School students should check the official list of current orders outside both the main office and the cafeteria. If your name does not appear, a yearbook has not yet been reserved for you. Please be mindful that time is running out to place an order. To guarantee a copy, we recommend placing your order as soon as possible at Jostens.com.
