June marks a busy conclusion to the academic year, bringing together both final achievements and school-wide celebrations. As students focus on their final exams and wrap up their end-of-year projects, our school buildings are filled with the excitement of milestone events. This festive spirit will lead us all the way to graduation, where we will honor the incredible accomplishments of our Class of 2026.
End-of-Year Schedule Changes
Please note: Some dates on the pre-made calendars distributed at the start of the school year have changed. For the most accurate and up-to-date schedule, please refer to the rolling calendar on our website's main page or the schedule listed below in this newsletter.
Elementary and middle school families: there has been a change to the end-of-year schedule provided there is not a need for an emergency closure. The original school calendar lists the last day of school as Friday, June 26. This has been amended, and the last day for elementary classes will now be Wednesday, June 24. Specific information will be provided by the principals.
High School Families: this serves as a reminder of a previous change that graduation was moved to Saturday, June 20 at 9:00 a.m. in the high school gymnasium. Ticket Information was sent to senior families earlier this week, anyone with questions should contact the main office in the high school. The final day of Regents testing will be Thursday, June 25
Field Days
Field Days are a long standing tradition at the elementary level that allows families to come and cheer on their students and treat the day as a festive picnic to celebrate the end of the year. The following is the schedule for each participating building:
Primary School will host Field Day on Tuesday, June 9 (rain date-June 10).
Intermediate School will host Field Day on Monday, June 15 (rain date-June 16).
Kindergarten Center will host Field Day on Thursday, June 18 (rain date-June 22).
Moving On Up
Parents of fifth and eighth graders - make sure to save the date for the moving up ceremonies. The grade 8 moving-up ceremony will take place on Monday, June 15 at 6:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium.
The fifth grade moving-up ceremony will be on Tuesday, June 16 at 7:00 p.m., also in the high school auditorium.
Next On Stage
Next week will feature our final concert of the Spring, the Intermediate School Orchestra, Band and Choir will perform on Thursday, June 4 at 7:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium.
