Principal’s Message
On behalf of our entire school family, allow me to welcome you to the Intermediate School. Our school is an exciting place to be, with new challenges and learning opportunities afforded to our students at the Intermediate Level.
The instrumental music programs begin in our school, students continue the Tiger Way by exhibiting Tiger PRIDE and we hold our annual Colonial Fest each May – connecting to the roots of our forerunners here in America.
School is becoming more of a challenge for all our students as we work to meet and exceed increasingly stringent standards measured by state assessments in the advent of Common Core State Standards. Our students take state assessments during fourth grade in English Language Arts, Math and Science. In fifth grade our students will take a state assessment in English Language Arts and Math. The dates of these test administrations are available on our website as well as through the NYS Education Department website.
Again, welcome to Hudson Falls Intermediate School! By working together and communicating, we will all play an important role in the education of our Hudson Falls youth.
