Keenan Given annually to a graduating Senior boy who is a member of one or more athletic teams and especially a member of the football team. He must be: purposeful, a good school citizen and planning to attend a two or four year accredited college. Given by Mark Nassivera & Ann Hope Pugliese The Alicia Nacy Hinds Memorial Scholarship – Olivia Lewis Given to a graduating senior member of the Hudson Falls Softball team who will be continuing her education at either a two or four year college or will be volunteering to serve as a member of one of the branches of the United States Military, and has consistently displayed on and off the field leadership, personal integrity, scholastic achievement, competitiveness and unbridled appreciation and love for the game of softball. Given by Charles Nacy Family Hudson Falls Volunteer Fire Department Award – Destinee Botts Presented to a Senior girl of exceptional character who has displayed the qualities of dedication, sportsmanship, and team spirit. Given by Hudson Falls Volunteer Fire Department Coach Chickanis Pin Trophy – M. Isaiah Mattison Given to the Hudson Falls Varsity wrestler who has accumulated the most pins in Dual Meet and Tournament Competition. Given by the Chickanis Family The Coach Chickanis Memorial Award – Aiden Pollock Given to the Senior boy who exemplifies the traits of maximum effort and dedication to the sport of wrestling. The athlete must possess a sheer love of participation no matter the level, and a true sense of fair play at all times. Given by the Chickanis Family Coach Anthony Luciano Memorial Awards – Xayn Studler-Morris Given to a Senior boy and girl who has proven to be exceptional in one or more sports. The recipients of this award must demonstrate the ability to excel not only on the athletic field but also in the classroom. Given by the Tiger Trackers Booster Club Joseph Heil Award – Brinley Inglee Given to a Senior boy or girl who was a member of the basketball team. This individual must have exhibited the qualities of Joe Heil; that of dedication to the sport of basketball, determination, fair play, and respect for all with whom he or she associates. Given by Bill and Philinda Heil James Carpenter Memorial Trophy – Peyton Daley Given to the Senior boy who is respected by all with whom he associates (fellow players, students, faculty, opposing players, and coaches) especially for his way of life, not only as a competitor but as a man. Given by the Tiger Trackers Booster Club Coach Anthony Luciano Memorial Awards – Emily Sherman Given to a Senior boy and girl who has proven to be exceptional in one or more sports. The recipients of this award must demonstrate the ability to excel not only on the athletic field but also in the classroom. Given by the Tiger Trackers Booster Club Chuck Catalfamo Memorial Baseball Award – Riley Maddison This award shall be presented to a graduation senior from the varsity baseball team who exemplifies the game of baseball by showing respect for himself, for his teammates, for his opponents, and his community. This player should lead by example with a high standard of sportsmanship, a positive attitude and a consistent effort on and off the field. He need not be the leading contributor in areas of points or winning statistics, however his impact cannot be undermined in areas of leadership, attitude, and work ethic. Most importantly, he should be kind and fair toward all whom he encounters, an overall “Class Act”. This athlete must also demonstrate excellence in the classroom as well as leadership, determination, and love of competition, on and off the athletic field. Given by the VanDeusen Family and Gary Merrill James Michelucci Scholarships – Danielle Hogan Given to a Senior Boy and Girl who exhibits the qualities of determination, fair play, and respect for all with whom he/she associates in school, in the community, and above all, to his/her family. Must plan on attending a two or four year accredited college. He or she must possess the qualities of loyalty, dedication, courage, love of competition, and sportsmanship. Given by Service Club The Coach Elmer Heidorf Memorial Plaque – Riley Maddison Given annually to the Senior boy who best exemplifies the qualities so personified by Coach Heidorf. These are dignity at all times, a true sense of fair play, respect for his opponents, and leadership qualities, not only in school but in daily life. Given by the Tiger Trackers Booster Club Mr. William Luciano Memorial Trophy – Alexander Varney Given to a Senior athlete who has participated in three varsity sports as a Junior or Senior and who, at all times, has exhibited a high loyalty to his/her coaches and fellow players, and whose play at all times, was beyond reproach. Given by the Family Of Coach Anthony Luciano The Bill Schaffer Memorial Award – Daniel Hill Given to a Senior football lineman. This individual must have exhibited qualities of dedication, hard work, and love of the game. Given by Gail Schaffer The Coach Thomas Heinzelman Trophy – Alexander Varney Given to a Senior athlete who has participated in more than one sport during their high school career. This athlete must have exhibited leadership, self-pride, and self-discipline, on and off the field. Given by the Tiger Trackers Booster Club Schaffer Volleyball Award – Madalyn Gaulin Given to the Senior girl who loves the game, loves to practice and loves to compete. Above all, she is mentally tough, plays with determination, and she is respected by teammates and opponents. Given by Gail Schaffer Paul “Orville” MacMurray Memorial Award – Emily Sherman Presented to a senior swimmer who exhibits exceptional sportsmanship, a sense of fair play, dedication to doing his/her best and gives 100%. He or she must show team spirit, loyalty and above all, be a person of high integrity and exceptional character. Given by his Mother, Sandy Wheeler and Family Varsity Club Awards – Madison Phillips Presented to a Senior boy and girl who has participated in at least one sport.
