COVID Positive Cases 9/9

Dear Tiger Community,

Now that school is back in session, we wanted to resume keeping our school community informed when members of our school community test positive for COVID-19. On Thursday September We had one positive in the Kindergarten Center, one positive in the Primary School, two in the Intermediate School, and one in the High School.

As we have stressed all year, our first priority is the safety of all of our students, faculty and staff. All school buildings will remain open.

We are currently working closely with Washington County Public Health to identify these individuals’ contacts. Washington County Public Health will reach out to all contacts and advise on the need to quarantine and to arrange to test those exposed.

Please note that New York State and Federal privacy laws restrict us from disclosing or confirming any personally identifiable information. We cannot identify anyone who has tested positive.

Student, faculty, staff and community safety is our highest priority. Please contact your child’s building principal if you would like more information about our health and safety procedures.

Sincerely,

Dan Ward, Superintendent
