Masks Still Required in NYS Schools

Recently Updated Mask Guidelines for Schools

On Monday, May 17, Governor Andrew Cuomo announced that beginning on Wednesday, May 19, New York would adopt previous federal guidelines that stated fully vaccinated people did not have to wear masks or follow six-foot social distancing in most situations. 

However, during the announcement Governor Cuomo announced a list of places that masks will still be required, including all school buildings.

In order to comply with guidelines from the New York State Health Department, Hudson falls Central School District will continue to ask all students and staff, regardless of vaccination status to continue wearing a mask 100% of the time.
