Summer Programs

HFCSD is please to be able to host a number of summer programs that support our learners across the district.  Please reach out to the appropriate point of contact with any questions regarding enrollment and participation requirements.

Extended School Year (ESY)

This program services our K-12 Special Education population with the goal being to maintain and grow academic levels and promote routine and structure through the summer months.

Days: Monday-Friday
Times: 8:00 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Location: Primary/Middle School
Lunch provided between 11:00-11:30 a.m.

Summer Success

This program is based on teacher recommendation for UPK-5 students maintaining academic growth made during the school  year in ELA and Math.

Dates: July 10 – August 3
Days: Monday – Thursday
Times: 8:00 a.m. -11:00 a.m.
Location: Primary School

STEAM Summer Enrichment

This program is offered to students entering grades 1-6 who are not eligible for other summer school programs.  This program is designed to encourage students to explore areas of interest related to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math (STEAM).

MS Summer School

This program is offered to students in need of passing courses required to advance to the next grade level.  Smaller class sizes and a more personalized approach helps to support students in need of additional academic support.

HS Summer School

This program is designed for students in need of recovering course credit or gaining credits toward graduation. Drivers Ed will also be offered.
