Summer Success

Our Summer Success program is for students in Grades UPK-6 and is based on teacher recommendation.

  • ELA instruction will use the Readers/Writers Workshop Model & Math work will be identified by grade level standards for content focus
  • Summer Success meets Monday through Thursday beginning July 8th with an end date of August 1st.
  • Transportation is provided to and from the Primary School.  This program runs from 8:00-11:00am.
  • Breakfast and  lunch is offered to students

Extended School Year

ESY is for students participating in our Special Education Program.  This program is recommended for students with IEP’s.

  • ESY meets Monday through Friday beginning July 8th with an end date of August 16th.
  • Transportation is provided to and from the Primary School.  This program runs from 8:00-11:00am.
  • Breakfast and  lunch is offered to students

STEAM Enrichment

STEAM Enrichment is open for students entering grades 2-6 who are not eligible for Summer Success or ESY programs.

  • This three week program offers students hands on experiences related to the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math.
  • STEAM meets Monday through Thursday beginning July 8th with an end date of July 25th.
  • Transportation is provided to and from the Intermediate School.  The program runs from 8:00-11:00am.

Secondary Summer School

Secondary Summer School is offered for students in grades 7-12 who have failed two or more courses and/or are in need of credit-bearing courses to meet graduations requirements.

  • Select High School courses include Regents Courses, Drivers Education, Physical Education & Health.  This is a regional program.
  • Select Middle School courses include grades 7 & 8 ELA, Math, Social Studies and Science.
  • The MS Summer Program runs from Monday, July 8th through Thursday, August 8th.
  • Summer School begins Tuesday July 2nd and Wednesday July 3rd, resumes Monday July 8th-12th Monday through Friday.  Beginning Monday July 15th, classes will meet Monday through Thursday with an end date of Monday August 12th.
  • Transportation will be provided to the Middle School with classes running from 8:00-12:15pm.
  • Students in need of PE credits will be required to arrive at 7:00am for instruction. 
  • Exams will take place at the High School on Tuesday August 13th and Wednesday August 14th.
