Elite Science Research Project
Congratulations to Science Research seniors Kloe Duke and Emma Sesselman! Last week, they completed and submitted their extensive applications for the Regeneron Science Talent Search (STS).
The STS is the most prestigious science research competition for high school students in the U.S. Their submission was the result of three years of dedicated research, requiring a detailed 20+ page paper, multiple essays, and three recommendations. Their work will now be professionally vetted by PhD scientists, engineers, and mathematicians, placing them in a competitive field of roughly 2,000 students nationwide vying for the 300 semi-finalist spots.
Congratulations, Kloe and Emma! We wish you the very best as you continue your impressive work in Science Research.
See the full story and photos of Kloe and Emma’s journey on our school website.
Bus Notice Reminder
Many of our students and families were affected by the bussing cancellation this week. We deeply apologize for the inconvenience and instability this may have caused.
Like many districts, we are experiencing a significant shortage of bus drivers, which has unfortunately reached a critical point. This has required us to make difficult decisions on daily transportation. We will always provide information about specific changes as soon as possible. To ensure you have the most current information, we kindly ask all bussing parents to please check for ParentSquare messages each morning for any urgent transportation updates.
We are also looking for help. If you or someone you know has ever considered a rewarding role as a bus driver or bus monitor (either full-time or part-time), we would love to talk to you. Please contact our transportation department at 518-681-4552 to learn more.
Thank you so much for your partnership and understanding as we work through this challenge.
