Fall has officially arrived and brought with it a little bit of much needed rain. Thank you to all of our families who attended the elementary parent nights this past week. The support of our parents and guardians is a huge component to our students achieving academic success.
Parent Participation
Parental involvement in education provides great rewards for both the parents and the students. For those looking to be involved, we have dedicated parent run organizations that are always looking for new members.
- UPK-5 PTSA: The first meeting of the 2025-2026 school year will be held on Monday, September 29 at 6:30 p.m. in the Primary School Cafeteria! Visit them on Facebook.
- Middle School PTSO: The MS PTSO is always actively seeking new members to bolster their organization in support of the 6th-8th grade school community! The PTSO is looking to fill some board seats and if anyone is interested please email them at msptso@hfcsd.org. Elections will be held on Monday, October 6, at 6:00 p.m. in the Middle School.
- Tiger Trackers Booster Club: The purpose of our Booster Club is to support and service the Hudson Falls Interscholastic Athletic programs. The next Tiger Trackers Booster Club meeting will be held on Monday, October 6, at 6:00 p.m. in the High School District Office Conference room, which is at the end of D wing. They would like to invite all Middle School and High School parents who have an athlete playing sports to come be a part of the club.
Trunk or Treat
The Hudson Falls Central School District will host our fourth annual Trunk or Treat event at the High School Franklin Street entrance on Saturday, October 25. The event will run from 10:30 a.m. until noon. If you would like to decorate a trunk for the event, please email Mrs. Struwing at astruwing@hfcsd.org by Friday, October 10. Food, activities, and candy will be available for all attendees.
Set The Stage
Grades 9 through 12, are you interested in singing, acting, working backstage, or the theater in general? There will be a Drama Club informational meeting on Monday, September 29 at 5:00 p.m. in the high school auditorium. All information pertaining to drama club, this year’s musical, and more will be discussed then. Parents and guardians are strongly encouraged to attend. All high school students who are interested should attend.
Digital Equity Survey
The New York State Education Department is asking parents/guardians to complete a Digital Equity Survey (for each student in the family) in grades UPK through 5. Students in grades 6-12 will be completing this survey in school. This survey will provide information on student access to devices and internet access in their places of residence. To assist us in this process, please take a few minutes to complete a survey for each student in the family. Thank you for your time and cooperation.
