Spring Programs

Rec Martial Arts

When: Start date: Tuesday 4/9/24 – End Date: Thursday 5/30/24

Tuesdays and Thursdays

Session 1: 3:45-4:45 p.m. (Grades 4-8) Grades 4-5 will be able to stay afterschool so there is no need to worry about transporting them home and back.

Session 2: 5:00-6:00 p.m. (Grades 1-3) 

Where: Intermediate School Cafeteria

What do I need ?Athletic clothing (shorts/sweat pants, t-shirt) water bottle.

Cost: The cost of this program is $10 and the participants will receive a shirt

Rec Trading Card Games

When: Start Date: Monday 4/8/24 – End Date:  6/3/24

Mondays

3:45-6:00 p.m. **End time may change due to length of game

Where: Intermediate School Cafeteria 

What do I need? Magic The Gathering or Pokémon trading card decks

Cost: $2 will be due at the beginning of *each session* and will go towards a prize pool that kids will have a chance to win.

Rec Disc Golf

When: Start Date: Monday 4/8/24 – End Date:  5/20/24 

Mondays

4:30-6:00 p.m. 

This program is open to students and their families as well

Where: Intermediate School Basketball Court (Martindale Side)

What do I need? If you have your own discs that is great but we will have a supply for those who do not.

Rec Dance

When: Start Date: Friday 4/12/24 – End Date:  5/31/24 

Fridays

Session 1:  5:00-5:45 p.m. (Grades K-2)
Session 2:  6:00-6:45 p.m. (Grades 3-6)

Where: Intermediate School Gymnasium

What do I need? Athletic clothing (shorts/sweat pants, t-shirt) water bottle.

Cost: The cost of this program is $10 and the participants will receive a shirt

Community Swim

When:  Wednesday 2/14, 2/28, 3/6, 3/13, 3/20, 3/27 

Pool will be open from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. 

6:00-7:30 p.m. Family Swim

7:30-8:30 p.m. Adult Swim

Where: Middle School Pool

Cost: No cost to residents of HFCSD
