Biggest State Championship Class in Decade

June 6, 2019 – Hudson Falls, N.Y. — A record-setting group of athletes is leaving for the state championships today at Hudson Falls High School.

The track and field team is sending 10 competitors to the big meet this weekend. That is the largest group in a decade. Here is who is going:

  • 200m dash: Jaylen Pritchett and Ashleigh Lacy
  • High Jump: Jack Hogan
  • 4x100m relay: Hayleigh Girard, Ashleigh Lacy, Emily Sherman, and Kayleigh Lacy
  • 4x400m relay: Xayn Studler-Morris, Ayden Saville, Conor Horrigan, and Jaylen Pritchett.

They received a drum-line send-off at the high school, before boarding buses for Middletown High School in the Hudson Valley. They will compete on Friday, June 7th and Saturday, June 8th. You can find ticketing information on the NYSPHSAA website.
