Hudson Falls athletes shine in state championships

June 8, 2019 – Middletown, N.Y. – Hudson Falls track athletes took home some personal and season-best records over the weekend at the State Track & Field Championships held in Orange County.

Senior Ashleigh Lacy earned the Section 2 Sportsmanship Award, as well as an individual 6th place in the 200m dash.

Ashleigh was also a part of the 4x100m relay team that took 5th place. She was joined by Hayleigh  Girard, Emily Sherman, and Kayleigh Lacy.

Over on the boys’ side, Sophomore Jack Hogan scored a personal best high jump of 6’5′. That was enough to earn him a 4th place finish in the state!

Senior Jaylen Pritchett streaked to a 14th place in the 200m dash. Jaylen was joined by Xayn Studler-Morris, Ayden Saville, Conor Horrigan on the 4x400m relay team that earned 15th place with a season-best time of 3:29.89.
