Class of 2021 Graduation Plans

We are excited to honor the Class of 2021 and celebrate all their accomplishments with an outdoor, in-person graduation ceremony at Hudson Falls High School football field on Saturday, June 26. These plans are subject to changes in New York State or Washington County guidelines for outdoor gatherings.

Students will be assigned to one of three ceremonies scheduled for either 9:00 am, 11:00 am, or 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 26.

Students should arrive at school 30 minutes before the graduation ceremony. Please report directly to the sidewalk on the East Labarge entrance where you will be greeted by Dr. Bishop, your school counselor, and advisors, and follow their instructions.

Inclement Weather Plans

In the event of inclement weather, by 4 p.m. on Friday, June 25, we will inform you if any of the morning sessions are canceled for Saturday, June 26. Our intent is to reschedule them for that afternoon at 3 pm, 5 pm, or 7 pm. We will inform you via robocall and SMS of which ceremony you will be attending by session.

If we have to cancel any of the afternoon sessions on Saturday, June 26 we will inform families by 10 am on Saturday. Our intent is to reschedule the sessions for Sunday, June 27 at 9 am, 11 am, 1 pm, 3 pm, 5 pm or 7 pm. We will inform you by robocall and SMS of which ceremony you will be attending by session.

Each graduate will receive three tickets by mail for guests to attend their assigned ceremony. Everyone must wear a mask once they leave their cars and practice social distancing until they are seated. Seating will be pre-marked for proper social distancing. Please have tickets out and ready as you enter the football field. Guests will have their temperature taken and will fill out a contact tracing form before they are allowed into the football stadium.

Guests and graduates for the 9:00 am and 1:00 pm ceremony must park in the East LaBarge Street lots. Guests and graduates attending the 11:00 AM ceremony will park in the Franklin Street parking lots.

Each of the three ceremonies will be live-streamed and saved for later viewing. The links will also be posted on our district website, as well as our YouTube channel: We encourage everyone to share them with family and friends who are unable to attend the ceremony.

There will be no in-person graduation practice for students. Instead, High School Principal Jim Bennefield will record and share out a video with students that they should each watch prior to coming to their assigned ceremony, walking our students through what it will look like on the football field.
