COVID-19 Positive 9/22

On Wednesday, September 22, Hudson Falls CSD has been informed of the following cases in our school community.

  • 0 from Kindergarten Center
  • 0 from Primary School
  • 1 from Intermediate School
  • 1 from Middle School
  • 0 from High School
  • 0 from Transportation/Maintenance Building

Contact tracing of these cases has begun in concert with the Washington County Health Department. 

The Washington County Department of Health has established new quarantine protocols for 2021-22 when there is potential COVID exposure at school or on the school bus. In those cases, the district will work closely with the school district to determine the students and staff who must quarantine.

As a reminder, there is no daily online screening for 2021-22. However, students, staff, and families are asked to watch for symptoms of COVID-19. If you are exhibiting any of the following symptoms, please stay home and contact your healthcare provider:

  • Fever or chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

COVID-19 vaccination for eligible students is strongly encouraged. Vaccinations are currently available for all individuals 12 and older. A list of vaccination sites in Washington County can be found here or you can contact your family physician.
