Friday’s dismissal bell kicked off winter recess meaning there will be no classes this Monday, February 19, through Friday, February 23. I hope everyone enjoys their time off whether it’s going on a vacation or staying home and recharging. Classes will resume on Monday, February 26 and it is never too late to set attendance expectations and goals, Attend Today, Achieve Tomorrow.

The Hudson Falls Public Library has programming for kids all year long and offers options over break. Check out their calendar for activities that they offer free of charge.
Postseason contests are happening for our co-ed cheer, girls’ ice hockey, girls’ basketball, boys’ basketball, boys’ ice hockey, and wrestling over the break. Visit the athletics page to see schedules of where and when to see your Tigers in action.
Think Spring
ArbiterSports formally known as FamilyID is now open for JV/Varsity spring sport registrations. Spring sports offerings are Baseball, Softball, Track and Field, Boys Lacrosse, Girls Lacrosse, and Boys Tennis. Any student looking to play a spring sport must be registered and cleared by the Health Office prior to participation with a start date of March 11. Modified sports registrations will open on Monday, March 11 with a start date of April 8. Modified offerings are Boys Lacrosse, Girls Lacrosse, Track and Field, Baseball and Softball.
Good Luck
Last week we highlighted our winter sports with an update as many teams and individuals are competing in sectionals and postseason contests. I would like to wish Jesse and Justin Mullis good luck at the New York State Wrestling Championships on February 23 and 24 at the MVP arena in Albany. Jesse and Justin are returning to states for a second consecutive year, this time both are Section 2 champions. We know they will make us HF Tiger Proud!
