Talking HF Tigers 2/9

Exciting news Tigers! The Hudson Falls Central School District Board of Education determined that a $54.1 million Capital Project will go before voters on March 27, 2024. We work hard to provide the best environments for our school community and this Capital Project will improve conditions in each building by addressing infrastructure needs. It will also provide upgrades and renovations to keep up with the evolving needs of education for the future. Keep an eye out for information that will be mailed to residents providing further details.

Support School Funding

Earlier this week we posted a website story about addressing some school funding concerns. The Governor recently released her 2024-25 executive budget proposal including reduced funding for schools and changes to how school funding is calculated. We urge you to have your voice heard by the Governor and our elected representatives in the State Senate and Assembly. This Take Action Link allows you to compose and send a letter in just a few minutes simply by entering your name, address, and email address. Thank you in advance for your support of our schools.

Sweetheart Dance

The elementary PTSA is hosting the Sweetheart Dance on Saturday, February 10 from 5:00 p.m to 7:00 p.m. This event is for Primary School students only and each child must be accompanied by an adult. Admission at the door is $15 for each child/adult and $5 for each additional child. Strawberry shortcake, crafts, music, and photo op included. Thank you to the PTSA for hosting this event and providing a special evening for our primary students.

100 Days of School

The Kindergarten Center students will celebrate their 100th day of school on Friday, February 16. KC students are encouraged to dress in costumes of 100-year-olds or wear a 100th number shirt. Stay tuned for some great photos as this has traditionally been one of the most fun days of kindergarten!
