I hope you all had an enjoyable Mid-Winter Recess and are feeling refreshed as we begin the month of March! A reminder that there will be no classes next Friday, March 8 for a Superintendent conference day.
As you know, we have been experiencing issues with our Internet and canceled classes this past Thursday. Our school district has worked diligently to repair these services to our school and make accommodations in the meantime. Please continue to check your emails for updates on this. Thank you to our IT Department who have been hard at work to fix the issues with the internet. Thank you to our teachers and staff who have put in the time to adjust their lesson plans to fit the unexpected issues with our technology.
Register for Universal Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten
It is time to register for UPK and Kindergarten! Potential students must be residents of Hudson Falls. To apply for Kindergarten, your student must turn 5 on or before December 1, 2024. To apply for UPK, your student must turn 4 on or before December 1, 2024. Registration packets must be in by April 1, 2024. Please call (518) 681-4500 to register your student. Once you have registered your student, you will receive a letter with an appointment date and time in May to bring your student in for a round-up screening with your completed registration packet.
*If your child already attends our UPK program you DO NOT need to register them for Kindergarten.

Capital Project
The Hudson Falls Central School District is bringing our proposed 2024 Capital Project to voters on Wednesday, March 27, 2024. Polls will be open from noon to 8:00 p.m. in the Hudson Falls High School Gymnasium. Make a plan to vote now!
Before the vote, the district will host two informational sessions to provide community members with an opportunity to ask questions and more details on the proposed capital project. Please join us on Wednesday, March 6 at 6:00 PM or Tuesday, March 12 at 5:30 PM in the High School Library Team Room to learn more. During the session,Executive Director of Business and Human Resources Kevin Polunci and myself will talk about the needed improvements and the contents of the proposed project.
2024 Wall of Distinction: Call for Nominations
Each year at the National Honor Society Ceremony, HFCSD also recognizes our Wall of Distinction inductees. This tradition honors our highly successful graduates who have gone on to distinguished careers in various fields or who have become role models in the community. The Wall also demonstrates to students and the community the caliber of students produced by the Hudson Falls Central School District.
