The Hudson Falls Central School District spring concert series kicked off this week with our Middle and High School bands. Congratulations to all seniors who performed on the Hudson Falls stage for the final time as band members. We look forward to hearing and seeing you at the Memorial Day ceremony and parade in a few weeks.
Teacher Appreciation Week
This week, the Hudson Falls Central School District celebrated Teacher Appreciation Week! Throughout the week, teachers received handwritten messages from students and breakfast specialties as an expression of gratitude. We thank every member of our instructional staff for their commitment to educating and improving the lives of our students. Our appreciation goes beyond the classroom to all the other ways you serve as role models in our community. Thank you for all you do!
Celebrating School Nurse Day
Wednesday, May 7, was National School Nurse Day! Our school nurses play an essential role across the district by keeping students in our school healthy and safe. Nurses go beyond their duties by mentoring and inspiring the next generation of healthcare workers. We celebrate and thank you!
Students to Witness Mock DUI Crash
On Thursday, May 15, a Distracted Driving/DUI Mock Crash Drill will take place at Hudson Falls High School. The mock crash will begin at around 11 am with the participation of Washington County first responders. Franklin Street will be closed, with several first responders simulating this mock car crash. Please be advised that this is only a drill intended to encourage safe decisions, especially as prom and graduation season approach.
