Talking HF Tigers 6/2

June is the final month of the school year, but it is also the beginning of a fabulous time to be a Hudson Falls Tiger. There is no lack of opportunities across our K-12 grades to celebrate and participate in events throughout the month. Field trips, assemblies, concerts, moving up ceremonies, and yearbook distribution fill the calendar and give students a chance to celebrate their accomplishments and the memories made throughout the school year.

Each Friday throughout the month I look forward to sharing as many of these milestones as possible, as well as all the learning that’s continuing in and outside of classrooms.

Learning: Keep on the Academic Prowl, Tigers!

We do want to have a month full of celebrations and acknowledgments for the many accomplishments achieved during the 2022-23 school year. We also want to partner with families for continued conversation and efforts to focus on the learning still happening. Whether it’s making sure your student attends a Regents Review session prior to one of their exams, or you work with your kindergarten, primary, and intermediate student to complete homework, projects, or just read with them for 15 minutes every evening. Keep on the academic prowl, Tigers!

Class of 2023 Senior-Athlete Celebration

Through today, Class of 2023 senior-athletes can purchase up to four tickets for individuals to attend their June 8 celebration event at The 1925 Barn. Senior athletes attend free. Sponsored by the Tiger Track Booster Club, tickets can be purchased with cash, check, or Venmo @TTBC_HF. It is a great moment to recognize the sacrifice and dedication of student-athletes and the friends and family members who supported these students in their participation. An advance thank you for all you’ve done and role you’ve played in their HF athletic careers.

Ready, Set, Play!

At any age, physical activity plays an important role in learning. For our youngest of students it is crucial they have safe, fun, and interactive play spaces. The new kindergarten and primary playgrounds are open!  Please take an opportunity to check it out.

Seeing the excited, smiling and playful students using it makes me, and I am sure others very happy to see the majority of our playgrounds back up and running.
