First up as Athletes of the week is Track Athlete Nikolas Heasley. The Junior scored 10 points in Hudson Falls’ meet against Glens Falls. His coach commended him for stepping up and winning both the 800m and the 3200m run.
Next, we honor sophomore Mikayla Varney. The varsity softball player had monster games against both Schuylerville and Queensbury. Over the two games, her batting average was .500. She went 3-6 over that time with two doubles, two sacrifices, and three RBI’s.
