Hudson Falls Public Library April Calendar of Events

April Highlights

Book Buzz: Saturday April 16th at 10:30am. Join our book club and read a different book every month. We will order the books in advance and have them available behind the upstairs circulation desk. Just ask the clerk and they will get it for you. We are reading When You Trap a Tiger for the  month of April. Grades 4-8.  

Book Nook: April 15th 1:00pm-5:00pm and April 16th 10:00am-1:00pm. Stop by for our monthly book sale.  

Crafting Corner: Second Saturday of every month at 10:30 am. Craft to your heart’s content at the Crafting Corner! All ages are welcome. Please come early as supplies are limited. First come first serve. Maximum of 16 kids. 

LEGO Challenge: The fourth Saturday of every month at 10:30 am. We will have a Lego Challenge to solve. All ages are welcome. Drop in. No sign  up required. 

Li’l Bookworms Story Time: Every Tuesday at 10:00am and Thursday at 2:00pm. Join us for books, finger plays and songs every week! All ages are  welcome. Drop in. No sign up required.  

Pokémon: First Saturday of every month at 10:30 am. Pokémon “trainers” will have an opportunity to compete in casual battles. If possible it would be  best if kids can come with their own cards, but we will have decks available to play. Parents are welcome to assist and play! All ages are welcome.  Drop in. No sign up required. Children with competent reading comprehension skills would be advantageous due to the large reading aspect of the  game.  

Stories and More: Every Thursday at 2:00pm. Join us for books, songs, and age appropriate arts and crafts for kids. All ages are welcome. Drop in. No sign up required. 

Teen Group: Every week at 3:30 pm. Come join other teens in doing activities in the library!  

Teen Book Club: Wednesday, April 13th at 5:00pm. Join our book club and read a different book every month. We will order the books in advance and have them available behind the upstairs circulation desk. For the month of April we are reading Paper Towns written by John Green. Grades 8-12.
