Superintendent’s Message

Dear Tiger Family,

I am so proud of the accomplishments of our Tiger school community over the past year, driven by the outstanding efforts of our students, families, teachers, staff, and administrators.  The Board of Education and I have continued to foster a great partnership in our efforts to provide the families of Hudson Falls the education and resources that make Hudson Falls School District a hub of the community.

The 2021-22 school year was challenging and tested our resolve, but through the additional efforts of parents, students, and the community we persevered and reaped the benefits of some amazing opportunities. Student-filled classrooms led to better academic achievements and promoted the return of extracurricular events like concerts, drama productions, science fairs, and even long-awaited athletic championships. Working together we strengthened Tiger Pride.

With the successful introduction last spring of our “Attend Today, Achieve Tomorrow” campaign, you can expect it to remain a cornerstone principle of our mission, vision, and values. Attendance makes all the aforementioned success possible and remains the key ingredient to your child’s future success. No student should miss out on all the opportunities offered, allowing them to grow and reach their potential.

As we shift our focus to the 2022-2023 academic year we look to build upon our previous successes while recognizing and welcoming the new challenges that lay ahead. Safety, health, and well being of students and staff remain paramount. We look forward to the addition of many new staff positions both instructional and support to assist in these areas. New academic programs such as our in-house agriculture program will address education and training needs specific to our community.

Improvements in communication are also being addressed and we are welcoming a new communication partner in ParentSquare. We believe this new partner will improve our mass school communications, and allow for a more seamless communication process between community and school. With that said relationships and communication are the foundation to your child’s success and should you ever need to contact my office with questions or concerns please do not hesitate.

Together let’s welcome the 2022-2023 school year and continue to work to make Hudson Falls #HFTigerStrong.
