Superintendent’s Message

Dear Tiger Family,

I am so proud of the accomplishments of our Tiger school community over the past year, driven by the outstanding efforts of our students, families, teachers, staff, and administrators.  The Board of Education and I have continued to foster a great partnership in our efforts to provide the families of Hudson Falls the education and resources that make Hudson Falls School District a hub of the community.

The 2023-24 school year brings a number of facilities upgrades in Phase I of our Capital Project.  We are excited to welcome students back to new secure entrances in all of our buildings, renovated bathrooms in our high school and state of the art remodels of our auditorium and library.

Our “Attend Today, Achieve Tomorrow” campaign continues and will remain a cornerstone principle of our mission, vision, and values. Attendance makes student success possible and remains the key ingredient to your child’s future success. No student should miss out on all the opportunities offered, allowing them to grow and reach their potential.

As we shift our focus to the 2023-24 academic year we look forward to refining our strategic plan through the development of a clear and shared focus that includes high standards and expectations for all students. The addition of 20+ credit-bearing electives between our middle school and high school demonstrates our commitment to new academic opportunities that will prepare our students for better career, college and military pathways.

We recognize the importance of high levels of collaboration and communication and will continue to build upon clear and consistent practices across all buildings. Parentsquare, our school communications platform, has allowed for more seamless communications between community and school. With that said relationships and communication are the foundation to your child’s success and should you ever need to contact my office with questions or concerns please do not hesitate.

Together let’s welcome the 2023-2024 school year and continue to work to make Hudson Falls #HFTigerStrong.

Sincerely,

Daniel Ward, Superintendent of Schools
